Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By requesting access to, accessing, or using the Sign Authority alpha program (the "Alpha"), you ("User") agree to be bound by these Alpha Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Alpha. These Terms are between you and Miles-Maharaja LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a California limited liability company operating as Sign Authority.

Alpha Program

2.1 Nature of the Alpha

The Alpha is a pre-release, early-stage version of the Sign Authority software platform. It is provided for testing and feedback purposes only. The Alpha is not a finished product and may contain bugs, errors, and incomplete features. It is not intended for production use or reliance in any compliance, legal, or regulatory context.

2.2 Access

Access to the Alpha is by invitation only. We reserve the right to grant, deny, suspend, or revoke access at any time and for any reason without notice or liability.

2.3 No Guarantee of Continued Access

We do not guarantee that the Alpha will remain available, that any features will be retained in future versions, or that data entered during the Alpha will be preserved.

Permitted Use

You may use the Alpha solely for internal evaluation and testing purposes. You may not:

  • Use the Alpha for any production, commercial, or revenue-generating purpose
  • Share, resell, sublicense, or transfer your access to any third party
  • Use the Alpha to process sensitive personal data of third parties
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Alpha
  • Use the Alpha in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations

Compliance Disclaimer

THE ALPHA IS PROVIDED FOR TESTING AND FEEDBACK PURPOSES ONLY. OUTPUT GENERATED BY THE ALPHA — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BRAILLE TRANSLATIONS, SIGN SPECIFICATIONS, AND COMPLIANCE VALIDATION RESULTS — SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON AS LEGAL, REGULATORY, OR PROFESSIONAL COMPLIANCE ADVICE.

You are solely responsible for verifying that any signs produced using Sign Authority meet applicable ADA, Title 24, and other regulatory requirements. We make no warranty that the Alpha's output is accurate, complete, or compliant with any specific regulatory standard.

Feedback

We actively encourage you to share feedback, bug reports, feature requests, and suggestions ("Feedback") during the Alpha. By submitting Feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, incorporate, and build upon your Feedback in our products and services without any obligation to you.

Confidentiality

The Alpha, including its features, interface, and output, is confidential. You agree not to disclose, publish, or share information about the Alpha — including screenshots, descriptions, or results — without our prior written consent. This obligation survives termination of your access.

Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Alpha and Sign Authority platform, including all software, braille translation logic, compliance validation rules, and related intellectual property, are owned exclusively by Miles-Maharaja LLC. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Alpha.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE ALPHA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE ALPHA WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SECURE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MILES-MAHARAJA LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE ALPHA, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR REGULATORY NON-COMPLIANCE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE ALPHA SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Miles-Maharaja LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Alpha; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your use of Alpha output in any compliance, regulatory, or production context.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Alpha at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may terminate your participation by ceasing use of the Alpha and notifying us at hello@signauthority.ai. Sections 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sonoma County, California.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify alpha users of material changes by email. Your continued use of the Alpha after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
